Step 1: Add a New Product
- Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
- In the left menu, click Products.
- Select Add New Product.
You will now be taken to the Product Editor.

At the top of the page, enter the Product Name.
Choose a clear, descriptive title that customers will easily recognize.
Example:

- 16oz Stainless Steel Water Bottle

Step 3: Add the Product Description
The large editor below the title is the Product Description.
This description appears on the product page and should include detailed information such as:
- Product features
- Materials
- Dimensions
- Care instructions
- Specifications
- Benefits
- What’s included
Use headings, bullet lists, and paragraphs to make the content easy to read.
Example:
Features
- 100% Cotton
- Machine washable
- Lightweight fabric
- Available in multiple colours
Step 4: Add the Short Description
Scroll down to the Product Short Description box.
This is a brief summary that appears near the product price and “Add to Cart” button.
Keep it to 1–3 short sentences highlighting the product’s key selling points.
Example:
Soft, breathable cotton t-shirt available in multiple colours and sizes. Perfect for everyday wear.
